Fall 2023-Spring 2024
Sierra Monarch Rescue participates with Ag in the Classroom. Fall we planted over 500 hundred feet of hedgerow milkweeds at 5 different farms with elementary students from schools around the county. You can see more on "Ag in the Classroom" Facebook Page.
March 2023
We were awarded the CDFA Pollinator Habitat Program Grant. The grant is an advance grant to be distributed September 2023. We are the only AB590, Underserved Community organization out of 10 awardees that were awarded this distinguished progam funding. We congratulate the other awardees, Xerces Society, Almond Grower's Alliance, Olive Oil Producers, Youtube link.
